In a shocking turn of events, Uganda Premier League side Mbale Heroes were eliminated from the 2025 Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 stage.
The Mbale side suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Buganda Regional League side Simba (Uganda Wild Authority) at the Namulonge Ground in Gayaza on Sunday evening.
The match was a closely contested affair, with Katumba Edgar putting Mbale Heroes ahead in the 20th minute.
