UPL: Vipers held by Wakiso Giants in a one-all stalemate

Vipers SC fought hard to rescue a point during a one-all stalemate with Wakiso Giants in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

Ibrahim Kasule scored for Wakiso Giants while Hillary Mukundane scored for Vipers SC on Tuesday evening.
Kasule gave Wakiso Giants a lead in the 11th minute with a flick.
Vipers went close in the 14th minute with a great scoring opportunity to tie the game but it hit the crossbar after a brilliant header by Yunus Sentamu.
Cromwel Rwothomio had another golden opportunity but he was denied by a fine save from the Wakiso Giants goalkeeper in the 28th minute.
Mukundane equalised for Vipers in the 59th minute of the game when he tapped in after a miscalculation from the goalkeeper Kiirya.
A draw left Wakiso Giants third with 11 points from six games while Vipers is now 10th with five points from four games played so far.
