Uganda Martyrs Women football team  comfortably won She MAK 3-0 in a FUFA Women Super league game played at the fortress St. Gerald stadium in Lubaga.

Brenda Munyana and Kevin Nakachwa scored for the Lubaga based side as two educationalist Uganda Martyrs and Makerere University met on Saturday morning.

Brenda Munyana sent the host in the lead just four minutes off the kick off.

The most memorable time came with midfielder Kevin Nakachwa’s 15th minute long range finish that extended the Martyrs’ lead to 2-0.

The stunning goal will be one of the talking points from the weekend action.

The first touch, decision and execution were all excellent

Lethal forward Lafifa Nakasi seemed to be the unluckiest on the morning having had her two strike that would be the third and fourth in 24 and 30 minutes ruled out for offside.

The win moves Uganda Martyrs to ten points in the second position in five games while Makerere sits 6th with five points

Kampala Queens are the table leaders with a 100% winning run in four games with 12 points. Later on today, the Queens will face off the second placed UCU Lady Cardinals (10 points) in the top of the table clash.

Asubo Gafford Ladies FC (3 points), reigning champions She Corporate (2) and Riness SS sit in the relegation zone in the 8th , 9th  and 10th positions respectively.
