As it now a norm in Uganda Premier League for clubs to reveal their full season squads before the public, the Ankole Lions fall in the same docket and unveiled their 2020/21 season squad numbers.

Twenty six players, Mbarara City FC is to use in 2020/21 UPL season that is expected to kick off on 03rd December, 2020.

In the revealed squad, some players changed shirt numbers, like Striker Jude Ssemugabi moved from number 11 to 09 that was for Brian Aheebwa who switched to 13-time league champions in the just concluded transfer window.

New signings, Bashir Mutanda, Goalkeeper Elungat Martin, opted for shirt numbers 10 and 23 respectively, while Edwok Ronald and Karungi Godfrey settled for number 4 and 21 respectively.

Brian Ssenyondo is the head coach of Mbarara City and their main target is to finish above their last season performance.

The side collected 36 points in 25 played games and finished seventh on the16-team log.
