The U-20 national team (The Hippos) forward Ivan Bogere is on his way to Wakiso Giants on a loan deal from his mother club and Big League outfit Proline FC.

Bogere will join the experienced forward Kipson Atuhaire who also joined Wakiso Giants on a short term spell to fill the gap created by Karim Ndugwa whose contract was recently terminated.

Bogere joined Proline in 2018 after a sublime Masaza Cup season with Buwekula. In his debut season, Bogere emerged the leading scorer in the FUFA Big when he netted 14 goals to help Proline gain promotion to the top tier.

In the same season, he guided Proline the Uganda cup glory and booked a slot to the CAF Confederation cup.

He performanec recently was key for Uganda Hippos (U20) to win maiden U20 CECAFA/ AFCON tournament emerging as top scorer at the tournament in Tanzania.
