KCCA FC’s fine form in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues following their 6-1 massive win against UPDF FC at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

Sadat Anaku was the star player on the day after scoring two goals, Charles Lwanga scored twice also while the other two goals were scored by Ashiraf Mugume and an own goal from Bright Joseph Vunni.

Sadat Anaku initiated a sole effort to strike past UPDF goalie Wasswa in the 10th minute to send the Kasasiro boys into the lead.

Three minutes later, UPDF defender Bright Joseph Vunni connected in his own net following a KCCA FC combination play between Ashiraf Mugume, Gift Ali, Sadat Anaku and the final ball deliverer Moses Aliro.

In the 15th minute of play, Ashiraf Mugume bent it far from Andrew Kigozi’s pass to make it 3-0 for KCCA FC before Anaku missed a one-on-one two minutes later.

Bright Anukani almost made it four but his bender slightly kissed the post to go out.

Brian Kayanja pulled one back for UPDF FC to turn the score to 4-1 when he slotted the ball past goalie Charles Lukwago from a well built left flank move just four minutes to the break.

KCCA FC gigantic defender Filbert Obenchan was stretched off and rushed to hospital in an ambulance following a collision with UPDF FC lanky forward Davis Kasirye in the 44th minute.

The second half was completely more of the same as KCCA FC continued to press and dominate the play.
In the process, Charles Lwanga hit the wood work in a would be scoring moment for KCCA FC.
In 67 minutes, Lwanga’s close range hard shot past goalie Wasswa found the back of the net as KCCA FC extended the lead to 5-1.

Sadat Anaku made it 6-1 in the 74 minutes after looping UPDF goalie Yusuf Wasswa.

In the 78th minute, UPDF’s Kitata Alex hit a cross bar from a Dikens Okwi corner delivery as he was searching for UPDF’s second goal.
The win pushed KCCA FC to 4th position with 23 points in 12 games played while UPDF FC remained intact in the 6th place on 18 points in as many games played.
