The matches saw some thrilling victories, revenge matches, and stalemates, setting the tone for an action-packed tournament.

Mawokota’s Revenge Match

In the Masengere group, Mawokota had their revenge over Buweekula with a 2-1 win at Buwama.

Isingoma George scored two goals, including a sensational free kick strike just before halftime, to lead Mawokota to victory.

This win was a perfect revenge for Mawokota, who lost to Buweekula in the quarterfinal last year.

Other Masengere Group Match

In the other Masengere group match, Bugerere played out a 1-1 stalemate with Buvuma.

Ibrah Kasakya scored for Buvuma, while Osaman Mayanja secured a point for Bugerere.

Muganzirwazza Group Matches

In the Muganzirwazza group, Kyaggwe kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 comfortable win over Kkooki at Bishops SS grounds in Mukono.

David Mugalu and Ssembalirwa Yosam scored in the second half to break Kkooki’s resilience.

Meanwhile, Mawogola beat Butambala 1-0 at Mawogola playground, with Ndugu Jabel scoring the winning goal.

Bulange Group Matches

In the Bulange group, Busujju beat Busiro 1-0, thanks to a Lauben Lubwama first-half goal.

Buluuli also registered a 2-0 win over Ssese on Saturday, while Buddu kicked off their campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Gomba last weekend.

Previous Results

It’s worth noting that Kyaddondo beat Bulemeezi 1-0 on Saturday, thanks to a sole goal from Sudais Ssentamu.
