Registration of Participants for the Second FUFA Intermediary Workshop Closes This Week

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) continues with the process of acquiring a Players’ Intermediary (Agents’) License with the second workshop.

FUFA, through these workshops aims at streamlining the roles and duties of intermediaries since they are part of the football industry.

Registration for the applicants who would like to be part of this workshop started on Thursday, 8th October and will end on Friday, 30th October 2020.

“In order to streamline the environment of working with intermediaries, Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has organized the second workshop for this cluster, hitherto the agents.” Writes FUFA website.

Willing personalities for this course have to part with an application fee of Shs. 250,000 (Two hundred and fifty thousand shillings), payable to the known official FUFA bank account.

The FUFA competitions director Hajjat Aisha Nalule emphasized that fully filled applications must be submitted to her department office with proof of payment.

The Intermediaries working license serves for two years.

This second FUFA intermediary workshop comes after the first of it’s kind concluded successfully at Jevine hotel, Rubaga.

The workshop got underway on Tuesday 10th September and climaxed on Wednesday 11th September.

A total of 51 participants attended the workshop out of the 56 who initially registered -comprised of both new and existing intermediaries.
