Vipers’ Boss Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa rubbishes Mutebi transfer links

StartImes Uganda Premier League reigning champions Vipers SC’s boss Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa has denied reaching an agreement with the former KCCA FC gaffer Mike Hillary Mutebi to handle the Kitende based side next season as reported by some medias.

Different media houses in Kampala yesterday report Mutebi’s move to Vipers SC as a done deal, a development Lawrence Mulindwa refutes.
“We have not agreed any thing with Coach Mutebi.
No one can do any thing at Vipers SC with out my knowledge.” Mulindwa.

The CAF ‘A’ licensed tactician (Mutebi) has been linked to numerous clubs with in and outside the country since his fall out with the former pay masters KCCA FC in March this year.

Clubs like Kiyovu SC (Rwanda),Vipers SC and Tanzanian side Azam FC have been linked to him.

Mutebi won three (3) Uganda Premier League, two (2) Uganda Cups anana CECAFA clubs tittle with the Kasasiro boys.

He (Mutebi) has previously had stints with Miracle FC, KCCA FC, Simba FC, Uganda Cranes, Maroons Football Club and SC Villa as a coach.

In his playing career ,he played for only 2 clubs ,Bell FC and KCCA FC respectively in a defensive midfield position.
