Uganda Cranes lanky defender Savio Kabugo has completed a move to Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy on a one year employment contract.

This becomes Kabugo’s third foreign move after stints at Sebete FC of Ethiopia and AS Vita of Democratic Republic of Congo.

“I want to use my experience to help the club achieve it’s goals together with my teammates as well as them lifting a step further as I continue chasing my dreams.” Bigwhale news reports.

Kabugo who was part of the Proline FC team in the Big League last season flew out of the country recently to Botswana and had an impressive short trial stint before completing his move.

His main task will be helping out the team in the CAF champions League were they are placed in group C along Tunisian giants ES Tunis, Etoile Du Sahel and Algerian side CR Belzoguid.

Jwaneng that was founded in 2014 becomes his third foreign club after AS Vita of DRC and Sebeta FC of Ethiopia.

They host their games at the 2000 seater Galaxy stadium in the City of Jwaneng, Botswana.
