Solomon Okwalinga extends stay at Mbarara City

 

Midfielder Solomon Okwalinga has extended his stay at Uganda Premier league side Mbarara City.

Okwalinga has put pen to paper on a new three-year employment contract, the club has announced

“We are delighted to announce that Okwalinga Solomon has extended his stay at the club for more 3⃣ years till 2024!” the club confirmed on Monday morning.

The Midfielder’s contract had expired at the end of last season but after a series of negotiations, the former Onduparaka player has agreed to extend his contract.

Okwalinga started off at Synergy and has also had short stints at KCCA and Onduparaka.

He becomes the third player to extend his contract after Jude Ssemugabi and Martin Olugat did so in the last few weeks.

The now Kefa Kisala coached side finished seventh on the log last season with 38 points in 27 games.
