Uganda’s finest SC Villa will face Vipers SC and high flying Express FC take on sinking KCCA FC in the quarter-final stage of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The development came after draws held on Tuesday 11th May 2021 at FUFA House, Mengo.
SC Villa who eliminated Onduparaka on an aggregate score of 1-0 with the jogoos wining the first leg at Bombo before a goalless draw in Arua in the round sixteen, will start at home.

Vipers SC beat UPDF FC 4-2 on aggregate in the round of 16 to advance to this round.
The high flying Red Eagles who beat URA FC 2-1 on aggregate score will host KCCA FC in the first leg.

KCCA FC eliminated Big League side Maroons FC on a 5-0 aggregate score. The Kasasiro boys beat Maroons 2-0 away in Luzira and 3-0 at Lugogo to seal the slot.

In the other ties, Proline FC are tied with the round of 16 tie aggregate winner between Kigezi Homeboyz and Bul FC. Bul FC currently carry a 2-1 first leg lead ahead of the second leg on a date to be communicated.

Fresh from a 5-0 victory against Police FC will soon face off in yet another contest in the quarter-finals.

The quarter-finals will be played between 25th May to 2nd June. Former UMEME FC forward and scorer in the 1996 final as the they won 1-0 against Nile FC Charles Ogwang and former Nile FC Sharif Samanya conducted the draw.

All teams at this stage are in a money bracket of 5 millions while all the four who reach semi-finals will bag 10 million.
This year’s final will be held at Masindi Municipal Stadium at a date yet to be confirmed.
