Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho has been awarded a new contract at his Tanzanian side Yanga SC.

His new employment contract will keep him at Yanga for until 2024.

The Uganda Cranes assistant captain has previously played for Kenyan sides Gor Mahia and Tusker FC in Uganda he featured for Simba.

Aucho is also a former player of Red Star Belgrade, OFK Beograd, East Bengal and Churchill Brothers.

 

He joins Shabani Djuma, Yannik Bangala, Fiston Mayele and Djigui Diarra whose contracts were also earlier renewed.

Yanga is in group D of the CAF Confederation Cup with TP Mazembe, US Monastir and As Real Bamako.

They are on top of the Tanzanian Premier League table with 50 points from 19 games.
