URA FC have confirmed the return of goalkeeper James Alitho to the club.

He signed a two-year contract that will see his stay with the tax collectors stretch till the year 2023.

The lanky custodian returns to the Tax Collectors following his short stint in the Zambian Premier League with Zanaco FC where he has been since 2019.

Alitho had earlier enjoyed the years that preceded 2018 with the Tax Collectors following his then successful transfer from Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC.

“I’ve grown to love the proverb that “East or west, home is best”, home is indeed best because I feel there is no other place I would rather be.”

“It is a pleasure for me to return to this special club that I happen to love so much,” he said.

He will join Nafian Alionzi and youngster Samuel Mwaka as the goalkeeping option at the club in the forthcoming season.

Hannington Ssebwalunyo has since moved to BUL FC for a loan spell.
