After signing a three years contract with Uganda Revenue Authority football club keeping him at the club up to 2023, experienced midfielder Brian Nkuubi has thrown light on to the challenges ahead of him.

The agility player who couldn’t hide his excitement upon joining the tax collector, he anticipates to face the stiff competition at the club ahead of the forthcoming StarTimes Uganda premier league (SUPL) 2020/2021 season.

“I expect competition for positions” Nkuubi told URA FC’s official website before adding.

“I’ve seen a lot of good players at club who are equally of the same quality like me. I have enough experience and I feel I can add a lot to the club in the coming season.” Nkuubi.

Upon his joining the tax collectors the midfield maestro expressed the need for all players on the club to aim at competing for big accolades.

“I want to continue playing at a high level and compete with the best on the title and the club seems on the right path to provide that will give me more exposure as a player. The fans should expect hard work from me.
However, it should correctly done and achieved by the contribution of all players on the squad.”

His comfort on the ball, work rate and penetrative balls will add value and modify the URA FC midfield.

He brings with him an offensive style of play, magnificent vision in passing the ball on runs and great shooting power in the final third which will be highly fundamental to the team.

The former Vipers midfielder joins new recruits at the club include Jackson Nunda(KCCA), Galiwango Arafat(Police), Ssebwalunyo(Maroons), and Davis Ssali(Tooro Utd) who joined earlier in the ongoing transfer window.
