Hockey National Teams Both Men and Women Summoned for Africa Cup of Nations

Uganda Hockey Association have released a list of 24 players both men and women selected to begin preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The qualification tournament is scheduled on 18th to 24th January 2021 in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

All summoned players shall under mandatory COVID-19 tests on Monday, 21st December 2020 before joining camp.

Hockey playing Nations including Uganda, Kenya and South Africa await selection to host the continental final tourney on a date yet to be communicated.

The men’s team will be under Kenneth Tamale as  Fatumah Namubiru take responsibility of women.

The overall head coach for both teams is Italian Francesca Richichi.
