Express FC Gaffer Wasswa Bbosa is optimistic his side will register maximum points from their next encounter against Bright Stars FC when the two sides meet on 12th December 2020 at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Express FC played for a one all draw on the road to Green Light Stadium in Arua against Onduparaka in her last game.

“Since our disappointing draw in Arua, we embarked on correcting mistakes we made. In the previous two days, our concentration was drawn to finishing and I expect goals tomorrow,” Wasswa Bbosa.

Bbosa also hinted that the Red Eagles will miss captain Enock Walusimbi as his side set to face Bright Stars this Saturday, in the club’s first home game of the 2020/21 season.

“We shall miss the services of our skipper Walusimbi but, we recruited enough players and we have confidence in the replacement available.” He added.

Walusimbi was sent off for a deliberate hand ball against Onduparaka at Green Light Stadium in Arua.

The Red Eagles were hoping for a perfect start to the 2020-21 season and  took a deserved lead in the 11th minute when Frank Kalanda converted from the penalty spot before, they were denied maximum points as Kabong Livingston equalized for the Caterpillars in the 68th minute from the penalty spot, after Walusimbi was sent off for deliberately handling the ball inside the box.

On the other hand, Bright Stars suffered a slim 2-1 loss at home in Kavumba against KCCA FC in the league opener before a barren draw on the road to Ndejje against tax collectors URA FC.
