CAF CL: Sudanese officials to take charge of Vipers game against TP Mazembe

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the match officials for the first leg of Vipers SC second round tie against TP Mazembe in the CAF Champions League.

Vipers will play hosts to the Democratic Republic of Congo outfit, at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Sunday, with Sudanese officials in charge.

Sabri Mohamed Fadul will be at the center of proceedings, assisted by countrymen Mohammed Abdallah Ibrahim and Haitham Elnour Ahmed as First and Second Assistant, respectively.

Alamin Alhadi Alamin Mohamed, a Sudanese as well, will be the Fourth Official while Rwandan national Micheal Gasingwa, will be the Match Commissioner.

Meanwhile, a Ugandan native, Bugingo Apollo Ahimbisibwe will be the Covid-19 Officer as designated by CAF.

After the Sunday first leg, the second is slated a week later, in the DRC with the aggregate winner advancing to the Group Stage of the Champions League.

The other team will then earn a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup, one step away from the Group stages.
