Soltilo Bright Stars FC have been held by newcomers Maroons following a goalless stalemate in the game played at Kavumba Recreation Center on Tuesday evening.

Meddie Kyeyune nearly got Bright Stars the lead in the third minute with a beautifully curled free kick outside the box that grazed the crossbar.

In the 13th minute, Noordin Bunjo had a nice shot outside the box but it went above the crossbar.

Mulindi Ashraf shot after a nice through pass from Sam Ssenyonjo but it the ball went above the cross bar in the 17th minute of the game.

In the 66th minute, Meddie Kyeyune hit the crossbar with a beautiful curler before Nelson Senkatuka had a shot going over the bar.

Bright Stars will take on Blacks Power in their next fixture on October 11th while Maroons will play host Wakiso Giants.
