Week 17 of the Betpawa Futsal Super League climaxed on a high as Kisugu FC humbled Kampala Junior Team (KJT) in a ten (10) goal thriller.
Star boy Kenneth Majara pulled off a sublime show at Old Kampala Arena on Friday 5th April 2024 to inspire Kisugu to a 7-3 win.
Majara netted 6 times against KJT on a seemingly hard evening for KJT who registered their third consecutive loss.
Richard Mugisha scored the other one goal for Kisugu FC.
A goal by Jordan Ajuna and a brace Joel Kizza on the score sheet for the losing side.
Before the Kisugu, KJT tie, Nansana Aska returned to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Kawempe FC who stay winless and pointless.
Week 7 has produced goals having seen Park FC smashing FC Luzira 6-1, Kisenyi beating Edgar’s Youth Program 6-0 and Lubaga’s 5-2 win over Kabowa Dream on Thursday.
The last game of the round produced the slimmest goal margin with just one hard hit from Sullaiman Mutyaba against his former side Mengo City to guide Aidenal to the fourth consecutive win.
The league shall return on Thursday 11th and Friday 12th April with 6 games including an epic clash between leaders Park FC against Second placed Kisenyi FC on week 18.
Park FC are looking for only a win to seal the 2024 league adding it to Uganda Cup to make a double tittle season triumph.
