Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan Kateregga alias Dancing Rasta has completed a move to DR Congo side FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo.

Kateregga signs a two-year contract that will see him playing for FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo until 2023.

Kateregga signs for a club after a year out since leaving Iraqi club Erbil SC in October 2020.

Kateregga previously played for Maritzburg United on loan from Cape Town City in South Africa and has had spells with KCCA FC, AFC Leopards, Tusker FC and Victoria University.

FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo is a Congolese football club based in Lubumbashi.

Their home games are played at Stade Kibassa Maliba.

They finished 4th with 52 points last season and have won the league six times – 1958, 1968, 1981, 1986, 1990, 2002.
