CECAFA Executive held draws for AFCON U20 and U17 boys Qualifiers of  East and Central zone, Uganda got to know her opponents on both ages.

The 2021 Africa Nations Cup for U20 finals to be held in Mauritania and Uganda is drawn against Burundi, Eritrea and South Sudan in group B.

The Zonal qualifiers for U20 are to be hosted in Tanzania between 22nd November 2020 and 06th December 2020 and the winner shall represent the zone in final tournament to be held in Mauritania.

Eleven nations have been drawn in three groups that’s group A (Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia and Djibouti), Group B has Uganda, Burundi, Eritrea and South Sudan while group C has Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.

Meanwhile, the draws for the same zone but for AFCON U17 Morocco qualifiers were also held and the Pearl of Africa was pooled in Group B with Rwanda, Eritrea and Kenya.

Rwanda are the hosts of this qualifiers and they are scheduled to take place between 13th -26th December 2020.
