Uganda Cranes is set to have two practice matches against KCCA FC and Vipers SC as they prepare for the forthcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The team that is composed of local based players is preparing for the upcoming double encounter against neighbors Rwanda in Kigali and at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

“We have started the second phase of our preparations for Rwanda after a successful Eastern Region Tour,” Micho said before adding.

“We are planning to have two practice matches against KCCA on Thursday and Vipers on Sunday to prepare the boys in match situations as we wait for the foreign based players are expected to start joining the camp by Monday,” he added.

The team trained at Lugogo on Tuesday morning and conducted intensive training session under the watchful eye of Serbian tactician Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, alongside members of the technical team.

Uganda has managed only two points out of the possible six from the two games against Kenya and Mali.
