Wasswa Bbosa renews stay at Express

 

Head coach Wasswa Bbosa has finally extended his contract with Uganda Premier League champions Express FC.

This wonderful news was confirmed by the club on Wednesday morning through their socials.

Bbosa, who replaced George Ssimwogerere in 2019 had his contract run after the end of last season.

He helped the Red Eagles secure their first league title in over 10 years and also guided the club to their first CECAFA Kagame Cup last month.

Speaking to the Express media, Bbosa thanked the chairman and CEO of the club and produce to achieve better things this season.

“First of all, I want to thank the chairman and CEO for seeing to it that and my backroom staff stat put for another season,” Bbosa is quoted by the club website.

“We have achieved a lot together and I believe we shall achieve more this coming season, this was bound to happen but it was only a matter of time so now its time to double our efforts and perform well on the continent.”

Consquently Assistant coach James Odoch and all the other members of the Red Eagles backroom staff have all extended their contracts.

Express is currently preparing to take on Al-Merrikh in the CAF Champions league preliminary round this Friday.
