Lady Doves squeeze to second with late win over She Corporate

The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League matchday four concluded on Sunday with Lady Doves beating She Corporate 2-1 in Masindi.

Docus Kwikiriza and Everline Nandera scored for the hosts, while striker Jesca Namanda scored the visitors’ only goal.

Jesca Namanda netted the opener, but Docus Kwikiriza equalized before the break.

In the second half, both teams maintained the pace until Everline Nandera scored a 90th-minute winner, securing three points for Lady Doves.

She Corporate have now failed to secure maximum points in their last three games, gaining only one point from a goalless draw against Olila.

Lady Doves are now second on the table with eight points from four games, remaining unbeaten this season.

After matchday four, the league breaks for the Crested Cranes’ international friendly games, resuming in the first week of next month.
