The final game of matchday ten in the Startimes Uganda Premier League saw Vipers SC and Kitara FC share the spoils in a goalless draw at Kitende.

Vipers had the opportunity to take the top spot but failed to capitalize on it.

They came into the game just two points behind leaders NEC FC but were unable to secure the win.

The game saw few scoring chances, and Kitara FC’s defense held strong to earn a point against Vipers. Allan Okello’s early chance that was denied by the woodwork,  was the only better goal scoring opportunity.

Despite the draw, Vipers remain in second place with 21 points, just one point behind NEC FC.

Kitara FC, on the other hand, remains in the relegation zone with 8 points.

In their next fixtures, Kitara FC will host Mbale Heroes on Friday, December 6th, while Vipers SC will visit Soltilo Bright Stars in Kavumba on Saturday, December 7th.

Earlier in the day, Lugazi FC came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw against KCCA FC.

Meanwhile, URA FC’s Ivan Ahimbisibwe and SC Villa’s Charles Lwanga are tied at the top of the scorers’ chart with seven goals each, while Vipers’ Allan Okello has six goals.
