SC Villa beat BUL FC to revenge against their recent 2-3 round of 16 Uganda Cup defeat that show them an early exit.

David Owori scored the only goal for the Jogoos at the end of the first half guiding them to a 1-0 Uganda Premier League victory.

The acquired maximum points kept SC. Villa in the 2nd place on 34 points from 18 games with a point behind leaders KCCA FC.

The record champions will face Busoga United on 31st March at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru in their next engagement.

The defeat holds Masaba’s BUL FC in the  third position at 29. The oil makers will be home on Thursday 30th to welcome the Wasswa Bbosa coached Gaddafi FC in the Jinja derby.

At Luzira Prisons grounds, hosts Maroons FC defeated inconsistent Arua Hill SC 2-0 overturning the first leg results that that ended 3-1 in Arua to suit a perfect revenge.

Abel Eturude and Darius Ojok scored each in the 6th  and 73rd minutes respectively to hand the Luzira based side a deserved victory.

After the win, Maroons FC moved to the 10th  position with 22 points from 18 games.

Arua Hill SC is eighth with 23 points from the 15 games they have  played.

The Prison wardens will visit KCCA FC  on Saturday 1st April at MTN Omondi Stadium.

Whilst, Arua Hill play relegation threatened Blacks Power FC on Thursday 30th March at Barifa.
