Uganda Cranes will host the Group Q AFCON qualifier game against Algeria in Cameroon.

This has been confirmed by FUFA through a document released on Tuesday 25th April quoting the FUFA president Engineer Moses Magogo

Earlier on the State minister for Sports Peter Ogwang made a promise to Ugandan that the Cranes will play from Mandela National Stadium Namboole but it seems impossible.

Magogo called upon the concerned parties to contract experienced service providers to avoid substandard work,

“I call upon the relevant government authorities to urgently cancel the contracts of the contractors and supervisors and immediately procure experienced service providers in stadium construction even if it means being obtained from outside Uganda. The country is likey to have a delayed project, substandard work and without value for money.”

Uganda played the last home game against Tanzania from Ismailia in Egypt.
