SUPL: Wakiso Giants finally register maiden win with victory over Police FC

Wakiso Giants have finally registered their first 2021/2022 StarTimes Uganda Premier League win after their 1-0 victory over Police FC at MTN Omondi Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Edward Satulo scored the only goal of the game in the 37th minute after Ikara parried into his path.

Following a win, Wakiso Giants is now on three points from three games while Police FC remained winless from three games.

Elsewhere, Arua Hill SC and Onduparaka FC played to a goalless stalemate in the West-Nile derby played at Barifa Stadium in Arua.

Express FC also picked up their maiden three points of the season with a 1-0 win against ten-man BUL FC at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe courtesy of Yaya Mahad Kakooza’s 52nd minute strike.

Newcomers Tooro United and Gaddafi FC have also played to a one-all stalemate at the Buhinga Stadium in the Tourism city of Fort Portal on Tuesday evening.`

Joel Madondo scored for Gaddafi FC in the 29th minute before Marvin Oshaba cancelled it out in the 74th minute. Both goals came from spot kicks.
