SUPL: URA FC arrests Police FC to leave their survival chances hanging in balance

URA FC comfortably registered a 2-0 win against struggling Police FC at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo on Friday evening.

Cromwell Rwothomio and Shafik Kagimu scored for URA FC in both halves to leave Police FC in the red zone.

URA FC went ahead in the 10th minute of the game when Ojera had a wonderful cut back for Cromwel to slot in.

In the 39th minute, Nyakoojo Benjamin had a timely sliding interception to stop a fierce shot from Police FC.

URA FC skipper Shafik Kagimu doubled his side’s lead in the 49th minute when he strike neatly at the back of the net.

The win left URA FC third on the log with 46 points from 26 games played while Police FC is now 14th with 24 points from 26 games played.

Elsewhere, Onduparaka FC won 2-0 against Express FC at Betway Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku courtesy of Muhammad Shaban’s double.
