Wakiso Giants FC head coach Alex Gitta has blamed his side’s 4-2 loss against Arua Hill to a false start on hot afternoon at Barifa in Arua.

Rashid Kawawa scored a hat trick while Afred Leku added another while Titus Ssematimba and Sam Ssenyonjo scored for the Purple Sharks in the second half on Wednesday.

“It was the worst start we have had in a very long time and it cost us,” Gitta said before adding.

“We didn’t settle in the game early enough and we gave away easy goals but the fight in the second half is what we need to build on going into the next game,” he added.

This was Wakiso Giants’ third straight loss in the loss and it left them seventh on the log with 27 points after 19 games.

They will host Mbarara City in their next league outing on Wednesday March 9th at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium.
