Express FC will be seeking to return to winning ways and frustrate Vipers FC when they visit them at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The Red Eagles lost at home to Onduparaka FC in the previous league fixture and will be eager to walk away with maximum points on Friday.

Having won the previous meeting at Kitende between both sides, the Red Eagles will be hoping to earn a fifth away league win of the season.

“Vipers is a strong and organized team, basically we’ve been working on our defence, Vipers are good at scoring through crosses like was the case in our last two meetings where they scored through the wings so all we have to do is cut off the wing supply but also we need to keep the ball more so that we frustrate them, I am certain if we do that well, we shall definitely earn maximum points,” Express FC interim coach James Odoch said.

This will be the 25th meeting between both sides. The Red Eagles have managed four wins while Vipers have picked up 10 wins with 9 draws between the two sides.

Express FC are unbeaten against Vipers S.C in the last three league outings.

The Red Eagles won the last encounter at Kitende but both teams shared the spoils in the last league meeting at Wankulukuku.
