Kenyan side Tusker FC are in final talks to reach an agreement to resign Ugandan and Gor Mahia FC left back Shafik Batambuze Buchu.

Batambuze’s contract with Gor Mahia ends in November 2020 and he is expected to pen a 3 years contract to rejoin his former masters Tusker FC.

In 2016-17, Batambuze joined Tusker FC from Western Stima and played 41 games, scored 6 goals before he transfer to Singida United in 2017-18. He later moved to Gor-Mahia in 2018 to date.

The touring left back spent part of 2019/2020 season out on sidelines after sustaining an injury during a CAF Champions league match against Aigle Noir, Makamba of Burundi.

The 26 year old has featured for clubs like Simba SC, Muhoroni, SC Villa, Western Stima, Sofapaka, Tursker FC and Gor-Mahia where he currently trades his brand.
