SC Villa Announces Andrew Kiwanuka as Their Second Signing.

Uganda Premier League side, SC Villa have announced their second acquisition after unveiling goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige on Thursday.

The sixteen time Uganda champions have unveiled former Express left back, Andrew Kiwanuka as their second off-season signing ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Kiwanuka who joined the Joggo side on a free transfer from the Red Eagles for an undisclosed fee, is excited to join the biggest club in Uganda.

I am so glad to join SC Villa, I am excited to join the club and I will try to give the best to the club,” A happy and delighted Kiwanuka noted via the official Facebook page of SC Villa.

Last season, Andrew Kiwanuka started sixteen games in the Express jersey helping the side to keep only three clean sheets out of 25 games in the Startimes UPL.

The 26 year old is expected to fight for the starting slot in Edward Kaziba’s Coached side ahead of Yayo Lutimba and Derrick Ndahiro who had outstanding performances in the concluded .

Last season, SC Villa finished third behind Champions Vipers SC and KCCA FC who were in the second on the sixteen-team log with 46 points from 25 games.
