Ronald Ssekiganda drags SC Villa to FUFA players status committee over violation of contract

Lanky SC Villa offensive Midfielder, Ronald Ssekiganda alias ‘Di Maria’ has dragged the 16 times Uganda Premier League champions to the FUFA Players Status Committee over non payment of close to 8 months salary arrears, requesting the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) to indulge in his case.

Ronald Ssekiganda has a 1 year period left on his contract, further wants FUFA to ‘force’ the ‘Jogoos’ to release him and join a club of his choice with StartImes Uganda Premier League giants in KCCA FC, URA Football Club and Express FC are reportedly battling for Ssekiganda’s signature.

The ex Lungujja Galaxy player, joined SC Villa in the 2020/21 transfer window from Kampala Regional side, Catda Football Club.

He’s a product of Buganda Masaza Cup having had stints at Buruuli , Ssingo Football Club and Bulemeezi Football Club where he won the 2019 Masaza Cup under Coach Simon Mugerwa edging Busiro FC 1-0 courtesy of a Loki Emmanuel flicked header passed a hapless Mutumba Adadi .
