Mutebi anticipates good football ahead of Police FC tie

KCCA FC head coach Mike is expecting a good football when they take on Police FC.

The two sides will face off on Friday March 11th at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

“Currently, we are going to face a Police side that plays good football,” Mike Mutebi said.

“Whoever is effective on the day will win but we expect to do better to pick a good result. The previous records don’t matter,” he added.

However, Mutebi said that the game between the two sides is not a derby although they use the same venue as their home ground.

“Facing Police is not a derby because sharing a stadium doesn’t mean make it one.”

“We don’t come from the same area, it’s a good rivalry that will produce good results in the end but not a derby.”

The hosts come into the game on the back of four wins on the trot after edging Kyetume FC 1-0 on Friday while Police lost 2-0 at home to URA.

Against Police side, the Kasasiro boys have a good record in the last fixtures having won 15 and drawn 6 times.

KCCA lie fourth on the log with 26 points, only four ahead of fifth placed Police.

A win for KCCA will lift them to 3rd on the table and within a point off joint leaders Vipers and URA who face off on Saturday in a lunch time kick off in the top of the table clash.
