Kitara, Mbarara City registered victories as Police FC drew with Booma FC at Kavumba

The race to Uganda Premier League promotion tightly continues as Big league table leaders Kitara FC and Mbarara City  register wins to consolidate their top and second places respectively.

Henry Kitegenyi scored the only goal in Mbarara City FC’s 1-0 victory against Kaaro Karungi at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara .

Victory lifts Mbarara City to the second position with 29 points one behind log leaders Kitara FC.

Kitara FC rallied from behind to register a 2-1 victory against Adjumani TC at Kigaya grounds Hoima.

Patrick Kaddu and captain Paddy Muhumuza scored the two second half goals for Kitara FC.

Micheal Ajiga was the goal scorer for Adjumani TC a side that completed the game with one less after Badru Issein was sent off.

Kitara FC remain on top of the log with 30 points.

Police FC and Booma FC played to a two all draw at Kavumba Recreation grounds.

Emmanuel Mugume and Tonny Kiwalazi scored the two goals for Police FC while Wabula and Denis Omedi were the goal scorers for the Masindi based side.

Action will resume on Thursday 18th January 2023.
