Nakawa based She Corporate women football club humbled Uganda’s giants Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC with a 2-0 victory to storm the table summit of the FUFA Women Super league.

The game was played on Sunday, 13th February 2022 at MUBs grounds Nakawa in Kampala.

Grace Nasonga and Favour Danielita Nambatya scored the all important goals as the Sharks continue with their perfect start into the 2021/22 edition.

Kawempe Muslim beat Kampala Queens 2-0 in their league opener at Kabojja inspired by a brace from Sharon Naddunga.

After the loss, Kawempe Muslim dropped to fifth place and will face Tooro Queens FC in their next league tie
as they look forward to return to winning ways.

Meanwhile, the win sent She Corporate to the table summit at six points with goals advantage overtaking UCU Lady Cardinals who sit second with similar points.

In the their league opener, She Corporate won with a similar scoreline against Uganda Martyrs Women football club last weekend.

She corporate will make a short trip to Wakiso for their next game against Rines SS WFC.

Elsewhere, Olila High School ran riot over newbie Rines Women football club in a 5-0 scoreline in Soroti.

Crested Cranes defender Grace Aluka and Cecelia Apiding netted a brace each, as Siporosa Amoding scored once for the Soroti based side.

The massive win comes after a 1-0 defeat to the 2018/19 champions UCU Lady Cardinals last weekend. Magician Hasifah Nasuuna scored for the Christian University.
