Uganda Cranes head coach and the Federation of Uganda Football Associations have today Thursday 14th September agreed to part ways.

Micho was reappointed Uganda Cranes head coach for the second stint in 2021 but failed to deliver to Uganda’s expectations.

The Federation appreciated Micho’s efforts and commitment through an official statement.

“Today, Thursday 14th September 2023, FUFA and Mr. Milutin Sredojevic agreed to mutually end the existing employment contract between the two parties.”

“FUFA appreciates all efforts and commitment by Mr. Milutin during his period as Head coach of Uganda Cranes.”

For the second consecutive time Uganda failed to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations despite registering a 2-0 victory against Niger in the last group stage game.

Uganda finished third behind Algeria and Tanzania in the first and second positions respectively.
