Express FC have confirmed that creative midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba has officially left the club after sealing a deal to Kiyovu SC.

Mutyaba joined the Rwandan top flight side on a two-year deal after Express FC and Kiyovu SC reached an agreement for the player’s transfer.

“Express FC would like to thank Muzamiru Mutyaba for his dedication and commitment during his time at the club. We wish him all the best going forward,” the club announced via their official website.

Mutyaba joined the Red Eagles in January 2021 and helped guide the club to our first league title since 2012.

He also played an instrumental role as the club won the CECAFA Kagame Cup for the first time ever scoring thrice in the process.

He previously played for SC Victoria University, Maroons FC and KCCA FC.
