CHAN: Micho summons a 35 man Uganda Cranes provisional squad ahead of CHAN

Micho Sredejovic the Uganda Cranes head coach has named a tentative 35 man squad ahead for the upcoming 2023 CHAN tournament.

The current Uganda Premier League top scorers Fred Amaku (7) misses onto the summoned list.

The squad announcement comes shortly after FUFA president Moses Magogo hinted about a possible withdrawal of Uganda Cranes from the competition die to lack of funds.

However, the ministry of finance responded to the outcry with a tune of 2 billion shillings as more 8 billion expected to come through before the tournament gets underway.

 

Uganda is in group B alongside Senegal, Ivory Coast and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The tournament that kicks off on 8th January and climaxes on 31st will be held in Algeria.
