After failing to advance from group stages last year under Ibrahim Kirya, Busiro has unveiled a technical team to be led by Emuron Recoba.

Recoba will work with Nasib Mukasa as his 1st  assistant, Richard Lukyamuzi (2nd assistant), Moses Kayemba (fitness coach) and the team doctor is Hassan Ssendi.

After being unveiled, Emuron Recoba has this to say;

All players in Uganda are the same but level of management, organization and luck matters.

I will not focus too much on looking for good players but I will pray for luck.

Shortly after here, the team will start the camp and preparations will immediately roll on”. Recoba.

However, there seem to be unfinished details of the goalkeeping coach who will be announced later.

The 2022 champions Busiro will return to Sentema from Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium where they hosted games last year.

The Ssebwana boys failed to advance from group stages and this year they eye to replicate their 2022 performance.

Manager Ronald Ssekitoleko said, “ Level of management is key but we pray for luck most.

It’s good we are back to our roots in Ssentema as home ground. Last year we played at Kabaka Kyabaggu and we seem to be hosting away from home”.

Recoba coached Butambala for  five (5) stints in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020/21 Kyadondo 2017.

He also coached Lweza in 2017 which later rebranded to greater Masaka FC and Bulo Parents.

He is currently coaching Kibuli SS.
