Ogweti joins the Eastern side from FUFA Big League entity and has been awarded a contract of three years.

He is a also former player of Friends of Soccer, TY Lugazi SC, Lugazi Municipal FC, Kyaggwe and Busiro in the Masaza Cup tournament

As Lugazi FC finished fifth in the recently concluded season, Ogweti was the club’s top scorer with 18 goals.

In the 2021/22 season he was the top scorer in the Buganda Regional League with 16 goals and helped Lugazi FC earn big league promotion

BUL FC previously confirmed the appointment of Abbey Kikomeko from Mbale Heroes as the head coach

The club also released Ivan Wani, Richard Wandyaka and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kalyowa
