Breaking News: Prodigal son Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye returns to mother club Vipers SC

Vipers Sports Club have announced the return of prodigal son Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye this morning.

Tumwesigye who recently terminated his contract with Police FC on mutual consent has penned down a three year employment contract keeping him at Kitende based side till 2025.

During his one year stint with Police FC, the midfielder scored 5 goals and 7 assists for the Cops in the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League (UPL) season.

According to Vipers SC website, Zaga claims to be a totally changed person with lots of experiences and exposure during his time with the cops.
“I am now a changed player.” Zaga tells Vipers SC website.
“I have seen and learned a lot during my time away from Vipers SC and this time I come back a changed person with a different mentality.”

“I know Vipers SC is a team of pressure and competition and l am ready to compete for a place in the first eleven. And l surely know l will make it.”

Zaga who joined Vipers SC from their main feeder side (St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende) in 2016. Later in 2019, the midfielder was loaned out to Express FC, then returned but was later released the following year as he asked to join Police FC.
