Arua Hill clinch 2020/21 FUFA Big League title after defeating Tooro United

 

Arua Hill clinched the 2020/21 FUFA Big League title title after they narrowly defeated Tooro United 1-0 in the final played at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Rashid Kawa netted the winnner the 25th minute of the game to inspire the Kongolo past the Rwenzori group winnners.

Tooro United also finished the game a man less after Patrick Serunjogi was sent off for a tackle on Aggrey Kirya by referee Ashadu Ssemere.

Meanwhile, Jinja based Gaddafi FC completed the three clubs that were promoted to the Uganda Premier League for next season.

They defeated Proline 2-0 in the promotional final.

Gaddafi’s goals came from Frank Bulimi and Munguchi Steve

Munguchi was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player while Richard Anyama was named the best goalkeeper, having kept 13 cleansheets.

Clinton Kamugisha(Nyamityobora) took the golden boot after managing 12 goals in 15 matches.

All the individual winners moved away with one million shillings and a 32-inch TV each from Startimes Uganda.
