‘We have prepared well for upcoming games’ – Okwi
Uganda Cranes captain Emmanuel Okwi claims that the team is well prepared for the upcoming assignments.
Cranes departed to Ethiopia departed for Addis Ababa where they are expected to play an international build up on Sunday, 29th August 2021.
“We have prepared well since day one of training,” Okwi said before adding.
“The response of the players has been top notch and we are ready to give our best,” he added.
Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic confirmed the list of players, majorly from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
The two goalkeepers Simon Tamale (Soltilo Bright Stars FC) and Nafian Alionzi (URA FC) have been ommitted.
Others include, Gift Ali and Vipers, Paul Willa, Nicholas Kasozi, Muzamir Mutyaba, Eric Ssenjobe, Arthur Kiggundu, Hassan Muhamood and Jude Ssemugabi.
