The 2025 Airtel Masaza Cup quarterfinal stage has concluded, with four teams advancing to the semifinals.

The teams that made it through are Ssingo, Buweekula, Bugerere, and Kyaggwe.

Ssingo Edges Past Mawokota

Ssingo, a two-time champion, secured their spot in the semifinals by edging past Mawokota 1-0 on aggregate.

After a goalless draw in the first leg, Shaban Kayongo scored the decisive goal for Ssingo in the second leg.

Buweekula Stuns Busujju

Buweekula, the 2021 losing finalist, stormed into the semifinals with a 2-1 aggregate win over Busujju.

Alex Talemwa’s goal for Buweekula in the second leg sealed their victory, while Lauben Lubwana scored a consolation goal for Busujju.

The second leg tied ended 1-1 whilst, Buwekula won 1-0 in the first leg.

Bugerere Overcomes Buluuli

Bugerere progressed to the semifinals with a 3-2 aggregate win over Buluuli.

After winning the first leg 2-1, Bugerere drew the second leg 1-1 at Mijeera playground.

Semifinal Matchups

The semifinals will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2025, across Buganda.

The matchups are:

– Ssingo Vs Bugerere

– Kyaggwe Vs Buweekula
