Exciting Matchup at the Uganda Boxing Champions League Week 14

Kampala, Uganda – In a highly anticipated showdown, the Uganda Boxing Champions League Week 14 is set to return this Saturday, November 4th  at the prestigious Lugogo Indoor Arena.

This week’s edition will be headlined by a welter elite weight (67Kg) bout between Matovu Ukasha from COBAP Boxing Club and Kawooya Mohammed Ali of Sparks Boxing Club.

Matovu Ukasha, a bronze medalist at the 2023 Africa Elite Men’s and Women’s Boxing Championships, is determined and ready to face his opponent.

“I’m fully prepared for this match and ready to give my best in the ring.

Boxing is a science for boxing scientists. It’s time for a professor to lecture a fresher”. Matovu Ukasha.

Kawooya Mohammed Ali, who is considered a challenging opponent, has also expressed his readiness for the fight.

In line with the ongoing efforts of the Uganda Boxing Federation to promote boxing in schools, this week’s edition will feature a bout between Nerrick Tumusiime, Senior three student from Kololo High School and Reagan Magumba of Lukanga.
