Vipers’ Kajoba, Brian Mayanja Mululi win Pilsner coach and player of February awards.

Police football club’s forward Brian Mululi Mayanja beat George Senkaba (Express FC) and Paul Mucureezi (Vipers SC) to win Pilsner player of the month of February.

Express FC’s George Senkaba, Police FC’s Mululi Mayanja and Vipers SC’s Paul Mucureezi were vying for the Pilsner player of the month for February after sublime performances in the previous month.

Brian Mayanja Mululi (Police), Senkaba (Express FC) scored five goals and Mucureezi scored three times for Vipers to storm the month’s podium.
Mululi’s consistence and his ability to help other players on pitch raise their game were the factors considered as the forward beat Senkaba and Mucureezi.

In the coaches category, Vipers SC’s outspoken tactician Fred Kajoba stepped up for the crown beating countapart Wasswa Bbosa of Express FC.

Kajoba’s Vipers played seven games. Won five, drew two scored 18, conceded six and won seven man of the match awards to collect 17 points in the process.

The Kitende based side beat MYDA 7-0, UPDF (1-0), Police (3-2), Bul FC (1-0) and Onduparaka (3-1) and drew with Express FC and Kyetume 1-1 and 2-2 respectively.

On the other hand, Wasswa Bbosa’s Express FC beat URA FC (1-0), Bul FC (4-0), MYDA (4-1), Wakiso Giants (3-0) and a one all draw with KCCA FC.

This was the 2nd edition of the 2020/2021 season. KCCA FC forward Brian Aheebwa and UPDF’s tactician Kefa Kisala won player and coach of the month of January respectively.
