Day two of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Netball championship witnessed twenty ties before a break to give room to the opening ceremony.

It was glamorous and a classy show as Kawanda SS and Ngando faced off in the day’s biggest tie.

Kawanda powered past a sleeping giant Ngando in 25-16 victory, a game that pulled a huge crowd.

Meanwhile, St Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana beat Nankabirwa Memorial School, 27-12 to register their second consecutive win at the tournament.

The most contest and tight tie of the day was St Mathias Kalembe’s slim 23-22 win over Nile Citizen High school.

Elsewhere, Kayunga district representatives, Namagabi SS registered their second consecutive win following their 24-23 victory against Arua Public to keep themselves on the right track of making it out of the group.

After their loss to Namagabi SS in their opener, Busiika bounced stronger to 45-13 against Akalo SS in game two.
